FAQ Deruta Majolica Italian Ceramics
Ceramic Art:
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I buy the Majolica Boccini / Ranieri ?
Because they are works which increase their value in time. They are works which continue the traditional and innovative methods employed by master Boccini since 1959. Master Boccini Luigi and Nicola (who is also a teacher of ceramics at the Deruta School of Ceramics) constantly work to create new designs.
Why are the "Majoliche on deruta.us are for collection "sole works?
All the ceramics shown on 'Majolica on Deruta.us' are collectables because they are not mass-produced. None of them are identical to a prior work. Moreover, it is not possible to find similar works made by artists other than Master Luigi Boccini and his son Nicola or Romano Ranieri because all this work presents a high difficulty of execution. The Ceramics on 'Deruta.us' are Limited Edition, numbered, and entirely hand-made.
Are all the Majolica showed in the pages available? If not, how long do I have to wait ?
Most of them are available but if something is out of stock, the waiting time should not exceed 30 business days after your order confirmation.
